COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT

Bank vs. Caro

The difference between a bank and credit union is easy to see. Caro is a not-for-profit cooperative that lives within and gives back to the community with the goal of passing any profits back to our members. This comes in the form of more benefits, better options, financial advice, lower fees and better rates.

With a bank, you are simply a customer helping to swell the bottom line. Banks are for-profit large institutions with the goal of making money for the stockholders in the company.

Since we are invested in you and the community we serve, Caro wants to improve lives every day. We want to know what charities may be important projects to get involved in. If you have a donation or scholarship request, fill out the form HERE and bring it in the next time you visit us at Caro.

Each month, we choose a charity that is important to one of our Caro staff members to volunteer with, and donate $100 in their honor.
